You deserve the best -- financially and otherwise. If you've never attended college or quit early to start your military career, you may now consider it next to impossible to attain your degree -- an essential part of your success and future security.

Mountain State University makes it possible by bringing the classroom into your barracks, ship or home via learning options that are sensitive to the needs of busy adults serving our country. MSU's Individualized Study offers you the opportunity to study independently at your own pace and convenience with faculty members providing guidance and feedback.

There are nearly 300 Individualized Study courses currently available; each course is designed to help you meet specific degree requirements. Individualized Study allows for open and continuous enrollment, and you have four months to complete a course.

FLEXIBLE
Like other students across the country and around the world, servicemembers can study conveniently and at their own pace through professionally oriented distance learning programs.

AFFORDABLE
Mountain State University’s tuition is far below that of most private colleges and universities and is often competitive with that of state-supported schools. In addition to federal and state financial aid programs, assistance is available to servicemembers and veterans through the Montgomery GI Bill and Veterans Administration.

ADAPTABLE
Prior learning assessment is available through DSST (DANTES) and CLEP exams as well as portfolio assessment. MSU recognizes American Council on Education guidelines in granting credit for equivalent military experience.
